Your role as Technical Project Manager is the direct link between our engineering team and our customers. It's extremely versatile since you will be interacting with both developers, customers and the business teams on a daily basis. Therefore, it is key for you to have a business acumen as well as good background knowledge about ML and its technical implementations. In order to build and cultivate outstanding relationships with our clients, we need a person who understands the principles of project management, who is passionate about developing ML projects with potential clients as well as acquiring new leads.

• Project Management. Manage ML projects to deliver maximum value to clients while mindfully taking into account technical and organizational constraints. 

• Discovery & Pre-Sales. Understand business pain points of clients, mapping them into ML problems and conceptualizing impactful, user-centric ML solutions.

• Requirements Engineering. Identify, document and manage (non)functional requirements along a ML project continuously thinking from a user perspective.

• Business Development. Contribute your ideas to strategically shape our offering as well as internal processes. Take ownership for a specific industry vertical, manage respective client interactions and represent the Merantix brand.

• System Design. Assess and design complex IT architectures with a focus on value creation for our customers and be responsible for communication with stakeholders.

• Track Record. Master or MBA in Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics or similar and first working experience in tech corporate, tech startup or management consultancy.

• Language skills. Ability to explore use cases, manage ML projects and own client communication fluently in both English and German.
